Dave Sawyer is the Chief Technical Architect of the Microsoft Technology Center in Detroit, Mi where he helps customer architect solutions enabling Digital Transformation. The Microsoft Technology Centers are used by Microsoft customers globally to investigate Microsoft products and technology. Customers are able to architect, build, and validate solutions in the Technology Center, with the assistance of the Microsoft staff. Dave started in 1991 as an Office Systems Engineer and over the years has held a wide variety of roles including work on the Central Region Technology Team, the Central Region Ecommerce team, and various roles inside the Heartland District. While not at work Dave spends time with his family, grows orchids, metalworking and loves to run and mountain bike.

Sean Flahie is the CTO and Principal Consultant at Apex Digital Solutions. His responsibilities encompass the design, planning, and implementation (or migration) of Microsoft 365 solutions for small and medium-sized organizations. Sean’s passion lies in creating a robust technology platform that organizations can leverage for years into the future. He finds immense satisfaction in engaging with customers who have taken an initial setup and evolved it into a thriving productivity solution used by all members of the organization. Whether it involves an email system, phone system, video conferencing, or a security solution, Sean firmly believes that a solid foundation and well-planned architecture from the outset will ensure a positive and consistent user experience and decrease the amount of re-work needed in the future for system administrators.
