Ascent Capture Web Validation Server 5.5 extends Ascent Capture's powerful indexing and validation capabilities to anyone equipped with an Internet connection and a standard web browser. Web Validation Server can be easily added to the Ascent Capture work flow to automatically send documents to authorized remote operators for indexing and validation.

Increase Operational Efficiency:

Web Validation Server works as though the documents presented to operators were being indexed in Ascent Capture's traditional Validation module. The server is able to distribute work across all the available operators and to intelligently send and cache documents so operators experience minimal delay. As each document is completed, it is automatically sent back to the central site for subsequent processing and release when its batch is complete. Configurable control ensures that documents are never left in an idle state when operators are on break or between shifts, and that batches can be closed only when all their documents are completed.

Greater Flexibility for New Operators or Increased Work Flow:

Indexing operations can be performed by part-time workers at home or by subject-matter experts in their offices or in other time zones, because Web Validation Server requires only a browser and an Internet connection. Typical software installation and administration issues that complicate adding new or occasional users are eliminated. After a new user is created in the Ascent Capture system, the user simply logs in securely and goes to work. The interface is simple, and operators will be up and running with minimal introduction to the system. Administrators have control over who is authorized and what work will be presented to them.
