PageRight is an automatic rotation module for Kofax Ascent Capture Version 5. PageRight utilizes multiple recognition engines to calculate page orientation confidence, and then automatically sets the page to its proper orientation. This Kofax module runs as a fully automated, highly accurate rotation process.
Pages with confidence levels above a user specified primary threshold are immediately rotated without further page processing. If page confidence levels are determined to be below the primary threshold, all 4 page orientations are processed, with the page orientation of the highest confidence level being saved. If page confidence levels are below a secondary threshold, the page is considered non-confident and is left in its original orientation.
In a high volume image capture operation, the PageRight automatic rotation tool can reduce scan operator time by as much as 30%. Pricing:
Pricing for PageRight is based on a price structure similar to that used for Kofax Ascent. The product costs are based on the total number of pages autorotated each month. Product purchase is a one-time charge and allows the purchaser to process an amount of pages up to the purchased level each month. Page usage counters are reset at the beginning of each month.
